## FIND : Length and Breadth

## SOLUTION : Let Length = L and Breadth = B

## Perimeter = 32 => ( 2 L + B ) = 32

## L + B = 16

## As length become ( L + 2 ) m

## As breadth become ( B – 1 ) m

## Area remains same

## ( L + 2 ) ( B – 1 ) = Lb

## Lb – L + 2b -2 = Lb

## L – 2b = -2

## From (1) and (2) adding these and multiply

## (1) by 2

## 3L = 30 =>. L = 10m

## ANSWER : Length = 10m
