    Suppose the smaller number is X and the larger is Y

    So, according to question,

    Y-X =7………………(1)

    Secondly,

    Y+6X = 77…………..(2)

    Now, by substracting no 1 from no 2 we get,

    (Y + 6X) -(Y – X) = 77 – 7

    7X = 70

    X = 70/7

    X = 10

    So the smaller is 10

    And the larger is (10+7) = 17

    Ans: 10 , 17
