    Answer:

    144 DEG

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Let the angles be A and B

    A+B=180

    given A=4B

    4B+B=180

    5B=180

    B=36

    HENCE A=4(36)=144

    Question

    find the angle which is four times its supplement ?

    Answer :-

    Note :

    ∆ supplement numbers added together to make the sum value to be 180 degree .like :- (90°+90°)=180° .

    ∆ complementary numbers added to make a some 90 degree like :- 60°+30°= 90°

    Solution :-

    180° – X = 360 – 4x

    => 180° = 360-4x+X

    => 180° = 360-5x

    => 5x = 360-180

    => 5x = 180

    => X = 180/5

    => X = 36

    so to find 4x we have to multiply 36 with 4 .

    => 4(36) = 144

    so the angle is 144 degree
