    2x- 1 = 5 ( 3x + 5 )

    2x – 1 = 15x + 25

    2x – 15x = 25 + 1

    -13x = 26

    x = 26/13

    x = -2

    Answer:

    2x - 1 = 5(3x + 5)

    2x - 1 = 15 x + 25

    2x - 1 = 15x + 25

    2x - 15x = 25 + 1

     - 13x = 26

    x =  -  \frac{26}{13}

    x =  - 2

    Step-by-step explanation:
