Multiplication is repeated subtraction-true or false ?

    Ans:

    Yes, Multiplication is repeated subtraction.

    Explanation:

We know that ,positive and negative integers involve in  multiplication .Thus multiplication is repeated subtraction as well as repeated addition , it just depends upon whether our integral multiplier is negative or positive.

If our integral multiplier is negative then , there multiplication is repeated subtraction otherwise it will be repeated addition i.e.,  integral multiplier is positive.

Repeated subtraction is a method in which we substract equal number of items from a larger group.
