ANSWER

Hmax =gμ2sin2θ=25m

=9.8(40)2×sin2θ =25m

sin2θ =0.153125

θ=230

Now, Tg2μsinθ =9.82×40×0.4 =3.19sec

Now, x = μcosθ×T

=40x cos(230) x 3.19

x= 117.62 m

Therefore , maximum horizontal distance is 117.62 metres.
