    Let the denominator be x

    And numerator 3x

    ATQ

     \frac{3x - 1}{x + 2}  =  \frac{5}{2}  \\ 2(3x - 1) = 5(x + 2) \\ 6x - 2 = 5x + 10 \\ 6x - 5x = 10 + 2 \\ x = 12 \\ fraction =  \frac{3x}{x}  =  \frac{3 \times 12}{12} \\  =  \frac{36}{12}
