    • GIVEN

    Let the digit of ones place be = x

    digit at tens place = y

    so,

    original number is = 10y + x

    Sum of two digit number = 7

    x + y = 7 …. (1)

    the number obtained by interchange the

    digit exceed the original number = 27

    10x + y = 10y + x + 27

    9x – 9y = 27

    x – y = 3 ….. (2)

    from equation (1) and (2)

    we get,

    2x = 10

    x = 5

    put the value of x = 5 in equation (1)

    we get,

    x + y = 7

    5 + y = 7

    y = 2

    So, original number = 10y + x

    10 (2) + 5

    20 + 5 = 25

    Thus the number is = 25
